MISSING Esra Uyrun's purse was discovered in the boot of her car on the day that she went missing.

Gardai found Esra's handbag and coat still at her home on February 28.

However her purse was found in the boot of the car when it was found at Bray.

Esra (38) left her house in Clondalkin at 7.15 that morning and disappeared without a trace. Her sister Berna Fidan said that the family do not believe she took her own life.

"We've been in Bray every day since she went missing with her photograph," she said.

"At the end of the day it's not just a normal missing person.

"Her purse was in the boot of her car -- it's not something a woman would do if she was going for a walk. She walked out of her house, her handbags were still at the house -- I went through every one of them."

Berna said Esra's family and husband Ozgur have been retracing her last known steps for the past five weeks. She was seen taking the bin out by a neighbour and had recently discussed school options for her son Emin (2) with her friends.

And Berna explained that there is a period of time that is still unexplained and called for anyone with information to come forward.

"There is a missing 20 to 25 minutes," she said. "The latest she left was 7.15am. My brother drove the distance and it is between four or five minutes to get to the first roundabout.

"But the police picked up her registration plate at this roundabout and it took her 31 minutes to get there."

Esra's brother and sister, originally from Turkey, but living in the UK, said that they have been assisted by search and rescue group CERT and the Missing in Ireland Support Service (MISS) but they have to return home this week.

"My brother and I haven't been to work since Esra disappeared," she said. "It's not as if we are multimillionaires. Money's not an issue -- but we also have children to look after."

Missing in Ireland Support Service (MISS) have also put out a fresh appeal for anyone who may have been driving a Skoda Octavia car which was in collision with a vehicle matching Esra's own Renault Twingo on that morning in Bray to contact the gardai at Ronanstown on 01-6667700, contact the MISS helpline on 1890 442 552 or email is info@missingpersons.ie.

THE family of a missing Dublin mum have demanded that gardai search the area near her house.
Esra Uyrun (39) disappeared from her West Dublin home five months ago.
Despite numerous searches around the Bray region where Esra's car was found, there has been no breakthrough in the search for the missing mum.
Now her sister Berna (46) has asked gardai to search the area near her house, as she believes that the mum-of-one was intercepted by someone as she left her home.
Turkish born Esra moved to Dublin four years ago from the UK for her husband Ozgur's work.
They hoped to move back to London with their son Emin (two), to be close to family, but Ozgur had to make the move without her last Saturday.
Ozgur says he last saw Esra at their home in Collinstown Grove, Clondalkin , on February 23 around 7.15am when she asked if she could take the car to go to the shops.
Their grey Renault Twingo was caught on cameras in Bray at 8.40am, and police found it abandoned at the southern end of the seafront that evening.
Her purse and credit cards were in the boot.
CCTV footage from the nearby Star Amusement Arcarde showed that Esra's car entered the car park, quickly left it within 30 seconds, and then re-entered 15 minutes later before parking in "the only blind spot".
This has led Berna to believe that her sister may never have been in the vehicle, and that someone may have intercepted her near Clondalkin before leaving the car in Bray in an attempt to mislead investigators.
"According to Ozgur, Esra left the house no later than 7.20am" she said.
"However, gardai have said that CCTV footage shows her car arriving at the first roundabout shortly before 8am.
"I've done that roundabout, even at rush hour, it would never take more than seven or eight minutes to get there, so my concern is that she stopped -- or was stopped -- before then.
"We have no proof that she was the person driving the car, and the fact that the car went into the car park twice makes it look as though the driver, Esra or somebody else, was checking where the location of security cameras before parking.
"To me, it seems very suspicious and that is why I really want the guards to search the area near her house now, because that hasn't been looked into."
Berna and their mother Neriman Fidan (67) have been so distraught by the search parties' lack of progress that they did not have the heart to celebrate their respective birthdays this week.
"This week has been the worst week of our lives because we expected to spend it with her and we've now lost hope," Berna told the Herald.
The Missing Persons helpline is on 1890 442 552
